Snow Day!

Well Cape Cod finally got our first bout of snow! I would say about 10" in good ole Chatham! Cassidy had a blast! She wanted to play in it all day. It's funny to think about being a kid again. Snow was SO cool. I would play in it for hours, jumping and rolling and making forts. Now as adults it is as if snow is a bother. It impedes us from getting from point A to point B, and its just too damn cold! Sometimes I wish I could just go back and be a kid again, with my kids. Just forget about all the stress of the real world and live in imagination land with Cassidy. Ride horses made out of brooms, run from the tiger that is daddy, and be rocked to sleep almost everynight. Yep. Where can I sign up?

"Goodnight the most beautiful princess"

Cassidy said this to me the other night when I tucked her in bed and told her good night beautiful. She literally melts my heart sometimes. She says things like that or shares her most favorite toy with a friend, she hugs her cousins when they are hurt and tells mommy and daddy it will be okay when we seem upset. We are doing such a great thing with her. She may have her moments, and us ours, but we do have a killer family dynamic.
